In addition to watching the show, you can register to participate in the Aca-Stravaganza workshop with Deke Sharon and the award-winning Lions Gate Chorus AND sing in the show finale.

No audition required. No experience necessary. Just a love of music.

Workshop tickets start at just $25 for students, $35 for groups and $45 for individuals.

  • Lions Gate Chorus is a world-champion, Vancouver-based premiere a cappella show choir. Lions Gate Chorus is a vibrant community of over 100 singers from all backgrounds and with all levels of musical experience who love to sing. From students to lawyers, business owners to homemakers, they are a community of strong, caring members who believe in community. By working together every week with the common goal of musical and performance excellence, they build strong bonds that continue outside of the rehearsal hall.

  • VIP tickets include reserved premium seating and a pre-show meet and greet reception with Deke Sharon and Lions Gate Chorus director Sandy Marron.

  • Not at all. The workshop and performance are separate experiences. Most audience members are attending the show to enjoy the performances from the comfort of the theatre.

  • The full evening show runs approximately two hours, including one intermission. Doors open at 6:30 PM; showtime is 7:30 PM.

  • Yes! This is a family-friendly event, and youth groups are welcome.

  • The finale is a high-energy, Pitch Perfect–style number featuring workshop participants who have spent the afternoon rehearsing with Deke Sharon. Audience members get to witness their debut performance live on stage!
